Groco SSCV-1500 1-1/2″ Engine Flush Service Adapter with Isolating Valve

The Groco 1-1/2″ Engine Flush Service Adapter adds safety and flexibility to any water system. A simple quarter turn allows for instant emergency bilge pumping or makes for easy winterization and cooling system flushing. The SSCV is an upgraded version of the SSC, featuring a Full Flow In-Line IBV series ball valve. This allows you to isolate the plumbing before SSC and prevents back-flushing into the strainer the seacock.

How to Use

• Emergency Use – While connected engine is running, close the seacock and remove the quick release plug. Excess bilge water will be pumped out by the engine raw water pump. You can add a Groco BSA to pump out remote bilge locations.
• Winterization Use – Close the seacock and remove the quick release plug. Insert the included service adapter you can then pump Anti-Freeze into the cooling system.
• System Flushing Use – Close the seacock and insert the service adapter. Dockside water can then be used to flush the cooling system while the engine is running at idle speed.
